This piece is composed of many layers and pieces of photographs. Each layer is under different filters and the hue saturations were changed. I also used the color replacement tool to change the color of my dress from blue to yellow.
This is a mastercopy of Corinne Day's series of Kate Moss portraits from the National Portrait Gallery. I turned each picture black and white, changed the lights and darks and then dodged and burned a lot.
This image is a composition I made with shells on the scanner. I changed the temperature of the image to make it more blue and used the spot healing tool to get rid of dust that was of the scanner b/c I didn't clean it off first...
This is a composite made in Photoshop from fruits, shells and a piece of my jacket that I scanned into the computer. I put the images under a filter to make them look painterly.
This is a composite image made in Photoshop from a bunch of different pictures I found. The background is a house I stay in with my family in Cape Cod every year. The people were taken from pictures I have from our vacations there.
I'm currently home on Long Island after graduating from Tyler School of Art, Temple University with a BFA in Ceramics and a Teaching Certification. I'd love to show and sell some of my work so let me know if you're interested in any pieces here or if you'd like something made just for you! (...portraits make great gifts!) Enjoy!
